Windows 7: Set Up Proxy Using a Script

1. Open Internet Options

  • Click the Start button.
  • Type Internet Options in the search box and press Enter.
  • Select the result to open the Internet Properties window.

2. Go to LAN Settings

  • In the Internet Properties window, click the Connections tab.
  • Click the LAN Settings button near the bottom.

3. Enable Automatic Configuration Script

  • In the Local Area Network (LAN) Settings window:
  • Uncheck “Automatically detect settings” (optional but recommended for manual PAC setup).
  • Check “Use automatic configuration script”.
  • In the address field, enter: http://proxy.klinify.com/klinify.pac

4. Apply and Confirm

  • Click OK to close the LAN Settings window.
  • Click OK again to close Internet Properties.
  • Restart your browser or log off/log back in to ensure the settings take effect.

  5. Save and Exit
    Click Save and close the Settings window
